Campus Police & Security

The function of the Campus Police is to enable a safe and secure environment for students, faculty and staff within the campus community by ensuring that the campus community and visitors exhibit appropriate behaviors and abide by campus policies, and local state and federal laws.

The campus police department is responsible for monitoring parking on campus and enforcing parking regulations through the use of warnings and tickets.

Threat Assessment Team

The Threat Assessment Team is focused on a practical, interdisciplinary and organized approach to the recognition, prevention, assessment, management and limitation of internal and external behavioral threats to the safety and well being of the students, faculty, staff and visitors of West Virginia University at Parkersburg.
