Effective July 1, 2014, WVU Parkersburg is a tobacco-free campus. This is per Policy F-60, which was approved by the Board of Governors on Dec. 17, 2013. A committee was assigned to assist with the implementation of the revised policy.

Individual cessation programs are available through the campus Wellness Center.
