Getting Started with Online Learning
1. Log in to Blackboard
Make sure you can access Blackboard using your WVUP Network ID and password.
2. Find Your Courses
Courses become available in Blackboard on the first day of class. If a course is still missing after the first day, verify your registration in OLSIS and contact Blackboard Support if needed.
3. Check Your WVUP Email
Check your WVUP email regularly for important messages from your instructors and the university.
4. Review Your Course
Read the syllabus, review due dates and course requirements, and become familiar with where assignments, grades, announcements, and other materials are located.
5. Make Sure Your Technology Is Ready
Use a reliable computer and internet connection and make sure your browser, audio, and video equipment are working before you need them for an assignment, test, or class meeting.
6. Learn the Blackboard Basics
