HLC Peer Reviewers’ Visit. The Assurances Argument and Evidence files for the Higher Learning Commission were uploaded for review by the March 31 deadline. SYMPATHY NOTE. The campus community extends its sympathies to staff member Marie Butler whose husband, John C. Butler, 48 of Parkersburg, passed away Monday morning, March 3, 2014. At his request there will be no viewing or funeral service, however, Leavitt Funeral Home is assisting the family with preparations for a gathering of friends to be held at a later date. SYMPATHY NOTE. The campus community extends its sympathies to staff member Lisa Gianettino whose father, Jimmie Gianettino, 78, of Parkersburg, passed away Sunday morning, Feb. 9, 2014. The funeral service will be conducted at 1 pm Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 10th Avenue and Thomas Street, Parkersburg. The visitation will be on Thursday from 1-8 pm at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th Street, Parkersburg, and an hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. (submitted 2/12/14)
