SYMPATHY NOTE. The campus community extends its condolences to staff member Kelly Straley whose father Kennith Lee Straley passed away  February 19. Visitation takes place Sunday, February 25th, 2018 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville.

EVENT NOTICE. The Kappa Delta Pi Sigma Omega chapter is conducting a professional development fair for WVU-P pre-service teachers and educators on Saturday, Feb. 24, on the main campus. This event is geared toward students in their first or second year who are interested majoring in education, and for students who are already in the program needing professional development hours for graduation. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided to attendees. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the fair will start at 9 a.m. Please RSVP  ude.puvwnull@3fidnucj by Wednesday, Feb. 21 if you wish to attend.

SOCIAL JUSTICE PROGRAM. Greg Baird will present “Disarming Hate & Bigotry: Building an Accepting & Inclusive Community” in the College Theater, Tuesday, March 22 at noon. Baird, a prominent voice of the LGBTQ community, will discuss hate and bigotry in our communities, schools, work, and on the internet.
