WVU Parkersburg to host Open Enrollment Day

West Virginia University at Parkersburg is hosting Open Enrollment Day for students to complete their Fall Semester registration from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on August 2 on the main campus.

“Open Enrollment Day is where students can come in and complete their admissions process, a personalized tour of campus, meet with financial aid, and meet with their advisors to get registered for this upcoming fall semester,” said Nicole Shutts, admissions and recruitment coordinator.

The Center for Student Services, the Business Office, and the Epicenter will be open until 5 p.m. to serve students who are enrolling for the fall semester.

Shutts said students that have applied will go through the orientation process, while students that have yet to apply will receive help with their registration before their orientation.

“They will be able to do everything from start to finish that day to get enrolled,” Shutts said. “We encourage them to fill out their FAFSA so when they meet with financial aid, they will be able to help the students figure out what they will receive to cover tuition costs.”

During Open Enrollment Day, guests can tour WVU Parkersburg’s state-of-the-art facilities, including the Applied Technology Center, Criminal Justice Crime Scene Simulation Lab, Digital Media Production Studio, and Nursing Simulation Labs.
