West Virginia University at Parkersburg allows high school students who have successfully completed their sophomore year, or are a junior or senior year of high school to participate in our Early College or EDGE programs. Through these programs, students have the special opportunity to earn college credits while completing their high school diploma.
Early College
High school sophomores, juniors, and seniors can earn college credits while working for their high school diploma with the Early College program.
EDGE
EDGE (Earn a Degree – Graduate Early) is a state-sponsored program that allows students to take high school courses for community and technical college credit.
