Get Started
Students
If your instructor is using Zoom through Blackboard, sign in to Blackboard, open your course, and select the Zoom meeting or link provided by your instructor. If prompted, allow your browser to open the Zoom Workplace application.
Can’t find your meeting or recording? Contact your instructor first. Your instructor controls course meeting times, links, and recording availability.
Faculty
Faculty can use Zoom with Blackboard Ultra for online classes, virtual office hours, reviews, and other course activities. Open your Blackboard course and use the available Zoom integration to schedule or manage course meetings. Make sure students can clearly locate the Zoom access point within the course.
Faculty and staff can also use the WVUP Zoom portal to schedule meetings outside Blackboard for advising, office hours, committee meetings, and other virtual meetings.
Recordings and Accessibility
- Let participants know when a session is being recorded.
- Review recordings before making them available.
- Use available captioning features when appropriate.
