Students will learn the importance of site selection when planting trees in an urban environment.
Course topics include:
- Planting site selection
- Proper preparation of planting site
- Selecting healthy tree stock
- Pre-planting tree care
The Rotary Club of Parkersburg is also donating 40 individually wrapped saplings for a giveaway in celebration of Arbor Day.
