Accounting and Financial Management
Our Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Financial Management at WVU Parkersburg prepares graduates for working in a private or public accounting firm or in a government accounting office. From Wall Street to Main Street, financial managers can be found in most any organization. Banking and insurance industries rely heavily on financial management professionals. However, even the smallest local business needs some level of financial management, so opportunities exist in just about any area of the country or the world.

Our Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Financial Management (BASBA AFM) is a traditional four-year degree in business. The BASBA AFM features courses in many different areas of the financial world. These programs instruct students on how to assist clients using their financial knowledge as well as focus on the different types of accounting and auditing.
