This page will walk you through the process of applying for Early College courses offered at your high school, on our campus or online. Follow the steps below to complete your application, select your courses, and submit the required approvals to get started at WVU Parkersburg.

Applying for classes on campus?

Fill out our traditional application here! 

Applying for dual credit courses at or through your high school?

Visit https://myec.wvup.edu/student/ to get started!

New Applicants

  • Click on +Start New Application on the right side of your screen
  • Enter your basic contact information including your email address
  • Verify your email address so you can complete your application
  • Once you have completed all of your information you will be prompted to sign your student agreement. 
  • From there you can see the selection of courses available to you on your high school campus and online. 
  • After you have selected your courses, be sure to send the link for parent consent. 

Current Students

If you are a currently enrolled EC student attending classes at your high school, please login with your WVUP Username on the left side of the screen, or if you already have created a MyEC account, scroll down and login there. (To find your account id visit findmyid to get access.) 

From here you will be prompted to 

  • Update your information
  • Select the courses available to you on your high school campus and online
  • After you have selected your courses, be sure to send the link for parent consent.

Students cannot be registered into courses until they have the Student Agreement, Parental Consent, Counselor Consent and all prerequisites complete for the course. 

Students taking classes on our campus will need to register via OLSIS.
