Organizations of every size run their applications, store their data, and deliver their services in the cloud. WVU Parkersburg’s Cloud Computing associate degree prepares you to build, deploy, secure, and operate the systems that keep it all running.
Beginning in your first semester, you work in live cloud environments, deploying infrastructure and applications with the tools used in industry. Amazon Web Services (AWS), one of the most widely used cloud platforms, serves as the program’s focus and primary environment. Throughout, you’ll build a solid foundation in core technology concepts, one that serves you on any cloud platform and across the wider technology field.
All of that work leaves you with more than a transcript. You graduate having actually built, secured, and run cloud systems, and that experience prepares you to pursue industry-recognized certifications. It also lets you start your job search having already done the work employers are hiring for.
Programs
A two-year degree covering how cloud systems are designed, automated, secured, and operated. The curriculum combines cloud services and architecture with the foundations they depend on: data-center hardware, networking, operating systems, security, and programming.
