West Virginia University at Parkersburg’s music department will present two public performances this week on Tuesday, May 12 and Thursday, May 14. Both performances will be performed at the First Presbyterian Church, 1341 Juliana Street, and begin at 7:30 p.m.
The first performance, titled “Now is the Month of Maying,” will feature the College Chorale and the Madrigal Singers of Parkersburg South High School. The evening of music will offer selections from the Renaissance and will be performed in period costumes.
The WVU Parkersburg College Chorale will perform its annual Spring Concert on Thursday, featuring music from the Renaissance and music by American composers.
Both concerts are free and open to the public.
