West Virginia University at Parkersburg announces it will be offering a new scholarship to students. The Beulah Tefft Webb Memorial Nursing Scholarship is available to eligible students entering the nursing programs beginning in January 20167

Beulah Tefft Webb was a long-time Parkersburg resident who positively impacted many lives. She was a mother, grandmother, volunteer and nurse. In her honor, her granddaughter, Kim Webb, and her husband Richard Dodd, established the Beulah Tefft Webb Memorial Nursing Scholarship at the WVU at Parkersburg Foundation.

“This new scholarship adds to the long list of resources the foundation offers our students,” said Dr. Fletcher Lamkin, WVU Parkersburg president. “Not only will this offer financial assistance to our nursing students in need, but it also honors a wonderful person from our community.”

To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be pursuing an Associate’s degree in WVU Parkersburg’s Nursing program. Scholarship awards may be made for up to $5,500 per year.
