To meet growing demand in the area, WVU Parkersburg is offering a 10-week course in Aluminum Welding. Two class times are available: Thursday evenings March 19 through May 21,6 p.m. to 9 p.m. or Friday evenings March 20 through May 29, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Registration is $800; space is limited to 4 students in each section.

Statistics confirm that 600,000 to 700,000 professionals currently work in the U.S. Nearly half of U.S. industries report difficulties locating qualified individuals with welding experience. The Occupational Outlook Handbook calls welding an “excellent job prospect.”
