The Certified Bookkeeper designation assures the level of knowledge and skill needed to carry out all key functions through the adjusted trial balance, including basic payroll, depreciation, inventory, internal controls and fraud prevention. Certification ensures an employer that you have the proven skills and knowledge to entrust their most important assets. This course is designed for experienced bookkeepers or accounting students finishing their 2nd year.

Certification requires:
• Signing a code of ethics
• Passing the 4 part national certification exam
• Once certified, meeting ongoing continuing education requirements.
• Proving 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping or 3,000 hours part time or freelance experience before or after you take the national exam. You have 3 years from the date that you pass the exam to fulfill this requirement.
• Criminal background check

This course includes text books and Certified Bookkeepers exam through Prometric.
