Immunization
Records
For anyone applying to college who was born after 1957, immunization records for measles and rubella are required. The four easiest places to obtain your immunization records are:
- High school records
- Parents
- Physician or local Health Department
- Military Records
If these sources do not provide you with your records, there are two additional options:
- Titer Test. This is a blood test done on an out-patient basis, in which a small amount of blood is drawn and tested for measles and rubella antibodies.
- Immunization Shot. This can be accomplished at area health departments.
