WVU Parkersburg Admission Checklist
High School or New Students

Submit an
application for admission.

Submit an official high school transcript (indicating
graduation date) or passing official GED scores. (High school transcript not
needed from person who graduated from high school five years previous to WVU
Parkersburg enrollment).

Submit official transcripts from each college or university
previously attended. These transcripts must be sent directly from issuing
institution to the WVU Parkersburg Admissions Office.

Submit ACT or SAT test scores. (This requirement does not
apply to applicants who graduated from high school more than five years
previous to WVU Parkersburg enrollment unless ACT is required by program).

Submit measles and rubella immunization records if you will
be a full-time student and if you were born after January 1, 1957.
Transferring from Another Institution
- Submit an
application for admission.
- Submit official transcripts from each college or university previously
attended. These transcripts must be sent directly from issuing institution
to the WVU Parkersburg Admissions Office.
- Submit measles and rubella immunization records if you will be a
full-time student and if you were born after January 1, 1957.
- Submit a high school transcript indicating graduation date and ACT or
SAT scores IF
- You have fewer than 30 hours of college
credit and
- You graduated from high school less than
five years previous to WVU Parkersburg enrollment.
If applying for Financial Aid at
WVU Parkersburg, you will need to request a financial aid transcript be sent
from any previous attended colleges or universities. You may pick these up
in our Financial Aid Office.
Transient - attending another college and
want to take classes here to transfer back to your home college
- Submit an
application for admission.
- Submit a transient approval form or letter of good standing from your
home institution.
- Make an appointment to meet with the Registrar or Assistant Registrar
for advising.
Readmission - already attended WVU Parkersburg more
than one year ago
- Submit a new application for admission if you have not been enrolled for
at least one academic year.
- If you have attended any other college since you were last enrolled at
WVU Parkersburg, please have a transcript sent directly from that
institution to our Admissions Office.
Non-Degree
