Staff Council Minutes

July 7, 2010

Present:   Rodney Parker, Drema Starkey, Melody Mercer, Jeanie Jones, Tim Beardsley

                         Janice McCue, Tom Yencha, Sandy Swisher, Patsy Bee

Absent:      Bob Cooper, Al Collins, Violet Mosser, Pat Mollohan, Jessie Wass

Welcome and call to order by Rodney Parker.

Minutes approved as read.  Motion made by Jeanie Jones seconded by Tim Beardsley.

Corrections were made to July minutes.

Treasurer’s report was given and approved.

Board of Governors Report

The next meeting will be August 11, 2010, at 5:45 p.m.

ACCE Meeting

Tim reported that they would be having a retreat July 26, thru July 28^th, at Hawks Nest.

He also reported that a lot of colleges were going to go to the payroll system MyTime.

OLD BUSINESS

 Rodney reported that the new Task Force Evaluation Form has been revised.

Staff council come to the conclusion that the Valley Gem Boat ride would be too expensive to rent for

 Casino Night.

NEW BUSINESS

Staff Council will have a Cookout and covered dish on August 4^th and Ice Cream on August 5^th

EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

            Employee of the month for August is Melody Mercer.
