WVU at Parkersburg Staff Council

 

On September 8, 1975, President Jerry Lee Jones sent a memo to all staff requesting a meeting on Tuesday, September 9, 1975 at 2:00 p.m. in Room 114 to discuss Staff Council's responsibilities followed by election of representatives.  The first Staff Council consisted of four (4) support staff, three (3) administrative staff, and two (2) maintenance staff.

Elected Staff Council Presidents since the organization of Staff Council have been:

The current Staff Council is made up of classified employees elected by their peers. 

As of 2003 the regulations governing Classified Staff Council will change.  Please watch for new developments and information updates.
