8: 45 a.m.            Board bus at WVU Parkersburg Activities Center entrance

9:30 a.m.             Pick up passengers at Jackson County Center Administration Building parking lot

11:00 a.m.           Lunch stop

12:00 p.m.           Purchase tour tickets at Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine

12:30 p.m.           Group tour of exhibition mine and restored coal camp

2:30 p.m.             Group tour of Mountain Homestead

3:30 p.m.             Board bus

5:15 p.m.             Unload passengers at Jackson County Center

6:00 p.m.             Return to WVU at Parkersburg

Bring money for lunch, tour ticket ($14), and discretionary spending. 

Bring a jacket—The temperature in the mine is in the 50 degree range.
