Social Justice Committee hosts Ironhand

West Virginia University at Parkersburg’s Social Justice Committee is hosting, Ironhand, a Native American presentation. Ironhand’s presentation will be both educational and entertaining as he shares Indian customs, traditions, dress, drums and dance. By birthright and vote of the people, Ironhand is the chief of his village and also chief of the council for the Native American Alliance of Ohio. He is of Wyandotti and Delaware decent of Ohio and has traced his ancestors back to the 1400s originating from northern Scotland. He has been a headman dancer for 22 years and still loves to share his culture through dance and storytelling.
