It is the responsibility of all
employees of this institution to review the campus safety plan
and understand safety policies.

Additional Safety Training
Safety classes/seminars will be offered on
respiratory protection, hazard communication, laboratory safety,
radiation safety, the blood borne pathogen standard, confined
spaces, chemical spill control, forklift training, ladder
safety, accident investigation, and fire extinguisher. Training
on the use of equipment will be provided to all workers assigned
to use a specific piece of equipment.
The Safety Director in
collaboration with Corporate and Community Education will
schedule training sessions.
Each supervisor will be expected to identify and budget for the
safety training required of employees under his/her supervision.
Employees will be required to attend safety training specified
by their supervisor.
This course highlights excerpts from the Safety Plan and will cover the following topics:
- General Safety Policies
- Emergency and Security Issues
- Evacuation Procedures
- Communications
You will be asked to register your participation at the end of this
course.

participation.
