ID Cards

The Ids were implemented as a formal means of identification in case there is a safety issue.  They also serve as a way for students/visitors to identify employees.  Some faculty are resistant to them due to the inconvenience, and they wonder what the rationale is. Dave White will use events during In-Service as an opportunity for explanation. Captain Woodyard noted that law enforcement personnel look for ID badges when they enter a location, and they keep a book of ID cards for reference.

Orientation

The Employee Orientation was designed to give a brief overview of the safety plan and consists of thirteen multiple-choice questions. One-third of faculty/staff have completed the orientation. A reminder email will be sent next week.

Counseling Agreements

Danita Brown stated that Westbrook got a grant for counseling and we are referring students to them.  She said she is looking into getting a location on campus for them.

First Aid Kits

Cathy Mutz asked where to order First Aid kit supplies.  Dave suggested asking Doris about prior purchases and charging it to the safety budget.
