All students: Please take note of the information found here. This information applies to all students in all classes, not just mine.

Students:  unless you hear otherwise via your WVUP-mail accounts or on my voicemail, all on-campus classes will meet. In the event that classes are canceled, check your WVUP e-mail as well as the course web page for assignments.  I cannot edit WVUP web pages from home.

Students: if you miss class, please check to see if any assignments are posted.  If they are not, please e-mail or call me or a classmate to find out what you missed.  Note that there is generally an assignment of some sort.

"Learning to read … means learning to live. Keeping your eyes open when you’re looking at a book is just a way of teaching yourself to keep them open all the time."

--William Deresiewicz

This has nothing to do with anything I teach, but you can now hear the sounds of the Assyrian and Babylonian languages:  Babylonian and Assyrian Poetry and Literature: An Archive of Recordings: SOAS.

Ebrary AccessOff-campus access to the Ebrary electronic book database has changed. In addition to using the user name and password, you will also need to enter a WVU Parkersburg library card number. This is the 15 digit number under the barcode on the back of the card. If you need a card, please contact a member of the library staff. Contact Stephen Hupp at 418 for additional information.
