Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

The Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration is designed to prepare students in the fundamentals, principles, techniques, and skills essential to the theory and practice of business. The program also develops students’ communication and analytical skills essential to careers in today’s business environment.

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

BSBA DEGREE PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS - 128 hours

GENERAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS - 50-55 hours
As part of the General Education Curriculum, the Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration requires the following: MATH 126 and 211, and CS 101. Students in the Computer Information System option should take CS 121 in addition to CS 101.

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION CORE - 46 hours
These courses are required of all Business students regardless of option. Courses marked with ** are included in the WVU at Parkersburg A.S. Business or Data Processing Degrees. Students who obtained their A.S. from other than WVU at Parkersburg and lack any **courses must complete each within one year of admission to the BSBA degree program.
