WVU Parkersburg's Bachelor of Applied Technology degree offers you the opportunity to pursue a career as a manager/executive or engineering technician.  Both are identified as the largest growing occupations in the next few years.  And you won't find this degree anywhere else in West Virginia but at WVU Parkersburg.

Build Your Skills on Solid Technical Foundation
The BAT degree completes a 2+2+2 educational process. The first two years include the last two years of high school; students build a foundation in mathematics, English, communications, reading and computer skills. 
In the second two years, students complete an Associate in Applied Science degree in Engineering Technology or an AAS degree in Computer & Information Technology, Occupational Development or Technical Studies.  The last two years include the Bachelor of Applied Technology. 

Top-Notch Faculty and Top-Notch Facilities
You'll be trained by faculty with top-notch experience in the profession.  You'll take most of your classes in the college's state-of-the-art Caperton Center for Applied Technology.  Students seeking this degree may select specialized options in Information Systems, Management or Technology.
