"Introduction to Plastics-Materials and Processing"

 

 

     An introductory overview of the different plastic resins, processing methods, and the terminology. Lectures cover different types of plastics, identification tests, polymerization, molecular growth, and processing methods. Laboratory experiences include extrusion, injection molding, thermoforming, compression, and fabrication processes.

Note: To print PowerPoint slides, click on desired chapter to open html file. Once open, click on File followed by Edit with Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer. Then, click on File, Print, Slides (Entering 3,6 will allow you to print slides 3 through 6) Handouts, and enter Number of Slides (Entering 3 will give you three slides per page with lines for additional notes to the right).
