college-central-networkWest Virginia University at Parkersburg is offering new and improved services to help students and alumni find jobs and assist employers in recruiting efforts. Recently, WVU Parkersburg launched College Central Network (CCN), a career services portal. Through the site, students and alumni can search listings, post a resume, apply for jobs, build a career portfolio, attend career events and more.

They now have the ability to start searching for a wide variety of opportunities posted exclusively to WVU Parkersburg. Users can also search a national job board. College Central features more than 1,000 career articles, 10 career videos and more than 50 career advice podcasts. Students and employers have entered their information and connections are already beginning to happen.

“We are excited about expanding the career services offered to our students and alumni. We want to help them achieve their end goal which is employment,” said Jennifer Randolph, coordinator of career services and cooperative education.

Area employers are encouraged to register at www.collegecentral.com/wvup. Employers can post jobs, search resumes and register for career fairs.

“We want to connect with area employers and build relationships to assist them in recruiting our skilled and talented graduates,” said Randolph.

Alumni can also register on CCN by visiting www.collegecentral.com/wvup. Contact WVU Parkersburg’s Career Services office at 304-424-8000 ext. 467 or at ude.puvwnull@secivresreerac for more information.
