Welcome to Professor Pam's Home Page

When typing a letter, use these guidelines for spacing.  The goal is to have the body of the letter on the BOTTOM HALF of the page when it is printed.

The trick is to put more spacing between the date and inside address.  The date should always appear on about line 13, which will leave a 2 inch top margin.  If the letterhead is unusually large, drop the date so that it is a double space (1 blank line) below the letterhead.
