Early Admissions Student Qualifications:

  • Submit a gold Early Admissions application form to the Admissions Office at the Parkersburg campus or at the Jackson County Center in Ripley.
  • Be at least a Junior in high school and have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Request your transcript be sent from your high school to the WVU Parkersburg Admissions Office. Students will not be allowed to register until we have the transcript verifying the grade point average.

Certain classes may require a minimum ACT or Accuplacer placement test score.

Classes taught on the high school/technical school campus usually consist of common core offerings. Examples: English, History, Psychology, Political Science and Sociology. Other classes may be taken based upon individual review with the Early Admissions advisor.
