WVU at Parkersburg Foundation Scholarships are an important source of merit-based aid for WVU Parkersburg students.  These funds afford the college an opportunity to recognize academic excellence among its current students and are an important resource with which to attract outstanding students to the college.

Scholarship awards are made to deserving students as determined by the WVU at Parkersburg Scholarship Committee.  The minimum criteria for an unrestricted scholarship for new students are: 22 ACT score or 3.2 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale from grades 10-12.  In cases where a new students does not meet these criteria, the Scholarship Committee may take into consideration other factors in awarding scholarships.  For previous college students, the criterion is a 3.2 cumulative grade point average.  The Scholarship Committee honors all requirements and preferences stated by the donor.
