Employee of the Month for November is Hannah Kratzer, Child Care Assistant II.

IN-SERVICE. The President’s Fall In-Service will take place on Thursday, Nov. 9, in the College Activities Center. All staff and faculty are encouraged to attend. From 9:30 – 11 a.m.,  Dr. Torie Jackson will discuss research and how it improves student learning. Then from 12 – 1:30 p.m. the President will host his Fall Harvest Lunch, and following from 2 – 3:30 p.m. Anthony Underwood will discuss “Data and Compassion: Serving Students with Intention.”

CLUB MEETING. The SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity) Club will meet on Thursday, Nov. 2 & Thursday, Nov. 16 in Room 2211. SOGI is a WVUP Student Organization that offers a safe and inviting place for members and supporters of the college’s LGBTQIA+ community to come together, get to know and support one another.

EVENT. Join Staff Council for the 29TH Annual American Sampler Craft Show on Wednesday, November 15 from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm in the College Activities Center. SUPER SATURDAY! One 6-hour activity @ WVUP Workforce & Economic Development Building, Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10 am – 4 pm for children ages 6-12 ($25). Drop your children off while you go shopping! They’ll have a great time with holiday-themed projects, games, and activities. Lunch and healthy snacks will be provided.
