Aaron Crites, ACF Representative
Aaron Crites is Assistant Professor of History at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.
Crites is involved in one student organization on campus, History and Preservation Club. Professionally, he is involved in American Historical Association, Organization of American Historians, National Geographic Society, Phi Alpha Theta and Advisory Council of Faculty Representative. Though not involved directly in his community with any organizations, Crites donates yearly to the Salvation Army and the Marine Corps League.
Crites feels that Faculty Senate is important because it is the first step of faculty having a voice and the more it is utilized the stronger that voice is. Crites says that despite the belief of some, faculty and staff have very similar issues and concerns that should be addressed with a united front. He also believes that all faculty issues directly affect students and their education.
Crites lists his non-educational hobbies as gaming, collecting comics and books, writing and attending conventions.
