WVU Parkersburg Staff Council
On September 8, 1975, President Jerry Lee Jones sent a memo to all staff requesting a meeting on Tuesday, September 9, 1975 at 2:00 p.m. in Room 114 to discuss Staff Council’s responsibilities followed by election of representatives. The first Staff Council consisted of four (4) support staff, three (3) administrative staff, and two (2) maintenance staff.

The current Staff Council is made up of classified employees elected by their peers.
