Emmanuel Ogwude and Khalid Haider

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:

OGWUDE is a native of Nigeria and is currently pursuing a PhD in Conflict Resolution with a research focus on Afghanistan. Last year, Ogwude conducted field research in Kabul, Afghanistan. A WVU Parkersburg alumnus,Ogwude is the Program Manager in the Student Welcome Center.

WVU Parkersburg solar energy tech. student, HAIDER has lived in West Virginia for the last three years. Born in the Sinjar District of Mosul Province in Iraq, Haider is a member of Iraq’s Yazidi community. He began working at the age of seven and held several other jobs before obtaining his last position in Iraq as a translator for the US Military.

THE PROGRAM IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
