You’re working to improve your photography, but you’re not comfortable with editing. You’ve heard about different programs, computer tools, and more, and you just want to learn how to make your photos better. “Learn! Improve! Create!” – that is the message we share in our classes, and that’s what you will accomplish when you’re finished with this “Photoshop Elements Mini-Workshop!”
Amanda Haddox and Ron Gaskins of Mountaineer Photo Excursions have used Adobe Photoshop Elements for years and are currently using the newest version. Adobe Photoshop Elements has all the tools you will need to put the final polish on your images. You will learn “hands-on” how to crop an image to improve composition, clear red eyes, use the “dodge” and “burn” tool, straighten tilting horizons, adjust colors, create black & white from color, convert RAW files to JPEGs, and with the newest version, you can even clean up camera shake and turn frowns into smiles!
Bring a laptop with any version of Photoshop Elements (PS Elements 2019 is available as a free trial and recommended for this mini-workshop). Ron and Amanda will bring photos for your use, as well as their experience using this editing software. You will be amazed at the difference a little “polishing” will make in your photos. Class cost – $50.
The class will be two days: Friday, March 15 from 6:30 – 9 pm & Saturday, March 16 from 8 am – 4:30 pm.
Pre-registration is required.
