These classes are provided by West Virginia University at Parkersburg to offer you fun and affordable learning opportunities. These are community classes, so you don’t need to be a student of WVUP to register.
This class is designed for people with no medical experience and includes CPR for adults and infants. In addition to traditional CPR, students will learn how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). Those who pay the additional certification fee will also receive their certification card from the American Heart Association in the mail after the class is complete.
The class is taught by Valery Burkholder, Certified AHA Instructor, and has a registration fee of $20.00 and AHA certification fee of $35.00. To register, call 304-424-8383 or email ude.puvwnull@dew.
