“ALTERNATIVE ENERGY AND TRANSPORTATION” PRESENTATION
The student Environmental Action Group will host an “Alternative Energy and Transportation” presentation featuring Kelly A. Bragg from the office of the West Virginia Division of Energy. Bragg will provide information pertaining to West Virginia and the use of alternative fuels for transportation.
An energy development specialist for the West Virginia Division of Energy since 2006, Bragg works to improve energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy technologies in West Virginia. In this capacity, she promotes the adoption of state building energy codes as well as coordinates the WV Clean State Program, which advances alternative fuels and vehicles. She recently served as coordinator for the
U. S. Department of Energy‘s State Energy Program/American Recovery and Reinvestment Act grant which invested $32 million into energy efficiency upgrades at state-owned and operated facilities and in green-collar job training in West Virginia.
The presentation will be held on Wednesday, November 6 beginning at 11 a.m. in Room 1317. The campus community is invited to attend.
