Apply

The "Apply" section is where you give students a chance to use and/or practice their skills and use their newly acquired knowledge that they acquired in the "Connect" section.  On this page, you will give the students an assignment or project.

You may want to list the actual steps you want students to go through to complete the assignment/project. If the assignment  is not a procedural task, you might want to at least list helpful guidelines as they apply their new skills or knowledge.  By doing this, you can save them from confusion and yourself from unnecessary student questions later.

1. Provide steps...
   Describe step one, visualize it, and/or give an example of the process or product you expect from students.
2. Include helpful links or detailed descriptions...
   Provide links to helpful Web pages or detailed descriptions of the more complicated steps of the process.
3. Use numbered lists...
   Students will feel more confident in their work if they feel as though they are proceeding in an orderly fashion.
