Mission Statement

The West Virginia University at Parkersburg Veterans Corps’ mission is to engage veterans and dependents of veterans, to develop camaraderie and to create opportunities for veterans within the school and in the community. Some of the Veterans Corps goals are to convey information, encourage, support, guide and lead veterans and their dependents on the path to higher education at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.  The organization’s main goal is to provide a military friendly organization as a means to bridge and unite the student veterans of all branches and their families.

West Virginia University at Parkersburg Veterans Club is an official chapter member of Student Veterans of America (SVA), which provides military veterans with the resources, support and advocacy needed to succeed in higher education and beyond.
