ACCESSING THE COURSE:

Once the form below is completed and submitted, you should expect to receive a notification when you have been  enrolled in the FAC 101 web-based course.  You will receive instructions via your WVU Parkersburg email account regarding how to access the WVU eCampus system and how to begin the course.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

FAC 101 is an online, interactive professional development course for faculty at WVU Parkersburg. The course is comprised of six instructional modules:

Module 1: Creating a Community of Learners
Module 2: Planning for Outcomes
Module 3: Active Teaching and Learning
Module 4: Moving Beyond the Classroom
Module 5: Teaching with Technology
Module 6
: Assessing Teaching and Learning

COURSE FLEXIBILITY:
Following each module is a brief quiz on the contents of the module and with the successful completion of the quiz, a certificate of completion will be available for printing. Faculty may complete all modules or only those that address their needs and interests. For faculty who complete all modules successfully, a $50 gift certificate from the Campus Bookstore will be made available. Please note that the gift certificate must be used within 30 days of the successful completion of the sixth module.
