How to seek compensation for your course design.

The first step in pursuing compensation for a course you have designed is to fill out this form.  Once the request has been received, you will be emailed an electronic copy of the checklist which includes the necessary criteria sought by the approval committee.

Your Division Chair will be notified at this time that you have requested compensation for a course.  Your supervisor reserves the right to approve or deny the request for compensation at this time. **Supervisory approval is required before payment is made.

Next, you will fill in the checklist with notations regarding the listed criteria. Once the form is complete, submit your information to Jessamine Wass for review of the course structure.  The form will be passed to the Division Chair for approval of course content (i.e. - lecture material, assessments, and student participation activities)

You will then be notified through the Academic Affairs office of final approval of course compensation and purchase by WVU at Parkersburg.
