Responsibilities:

o        Build, mentor, and contribute as an in‑house software developer working on new projects as well as the maintenance of           existing         systems.

o        Manage the cyber assets and take the lead role as a Local IT Administrator.

o        Work closely with the IT leads in other departments while developing  and implementing our applications.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

o        Substantial and proven experience in application system design, development and enhancement, as well as an understanding           of project management.

o        Thorough knowledge of Microsoft software development framework.

o        Significant exper. with some or all:  ASP.NET, VB.NET on Microsoft .NET platform; .NET 2.0, ADO.NET, HTML,

           CSS, XML, XSLT, DHTML, Javascript; SQL Server 2000/2005.

o        Legacy application support requires strong experience with VBA programming in Access and Excel.

o        Knowledge and experience of SQL Server programming.  Strong SQL skills required.

o        Ability to produce GUI mock‑ups in Photoshop or equivalent.

o        Experience utilizing/developing Web services and APIs.

o        Experience working in scheduling software such as Primavera Enterprise  is extremely helpful.

o        Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to be flexible and adapt to any given situation.

o        Ability to think outside the box, learn from co‑workers, and share information and experience.

o        Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with individuals.

o        Ability to develop strong relationships with people inside and outside of the organization.

o        Effective and efficient oral and written communication skills.

o        Front-end report writer application experience utilizing one of the following: Business Objects or Crystal Reports, etc.

 

    Education and Experience:

o        Pursuit of a Bachelors or Associates degree in Computer Science or  Information Systems preferred, or equivalent

          education and experience to successfully perform the duties of the job.
