Two
years of related work experience is preferred. Knowledge of INews and Avid
NewsCutter XP editing technology are not required, but are a definite plus!!

WCHS ABC 8 and WVAH Fox 11 are looking for a full-time Multi-Media Engineer. You will be directly responsible for hands-on support of modern broadcast equipment.
Responsibilities Include:
Corrective and scheduled preventive maintenance for AVID INews, AVID NewsCutters, and all related equipment as well as the LAN and office PC’s
Maintaining broadcast equipment including DVC-Pro tape machines, switchers, ENG equipment, servers, and HD equipment
Supporting the technical needs of our News Department
Two years of technical training with emphasis on computers and electronics
Exceptional PC and networking skills are a must
Flexible work schedule
Ability to work well with others and respond quickly under pressure
Excellent communication skills
College degree
Two years of related work experience

The Traffic Department is responsible for scheduling the television commercials and programs so that they air on TV correctly. If you have the ability to multi-task under pressure and pay great attention to detail, then this is the job for you!

Having the ability to meet daily deadlines
Being a team player
Responsibilities include:
Working with sales staff to help insure that the commercials are put on the air correctly
Checking and printing the daily logs (a timed, detailed list of programs and commercials that will be airing)
Assisting with formatting television programs correctly
Checking work of co-workers to make sure that the traffic instructions sent by our clients have been followed correctly
Cross-training in other areas of the traffic department
Previous experience is preferred but not required - we are willing to train.
