Prerequisites: CIT 205
The last in the series of four courses required to prepare
the student for the Cisco CCNA certification. Topics covered in this semester
include WAN Technology & Architecture, WAN design, PPP, ISDN, Frame Relay
and troubleshooting.
By the end of the course the
student will be able to:

Project 1 - Individual students must students configure
routers to implement basic District WAN functions.
Project 2 Individual students must configure and verify
PPP, ISDN and Frame Relay on a router.
The course itself serves as an assessment of the Cisco
Certified Network Associate certification requirements. Successful course
completion as well achieving the CCNA certification demonstrates that students
have mastered the criteria.
This course is designed to prepare the student for a career in the computer industry. Along with the above stated course objectives this course will prepare the student to take their actual Cisco certification exam.
