Management Institute
 
The Management Institute seeks to provide knowledge and skills immediately useful in the workplace.  The Institute is available in whole or in part for delivery at your work site and includes:
  • Fundamentals of Supervision - Certificate Program.  Take the exclusive Myers-Briggs Type Indicator for managers, supervisors and team leaders who need to enhance skills they use each day to get positive results.  Have you must been promoted to a supervisory position?  Are you starting in a new job in management.  You'll need to have background to back on to help you be a successful leader.  The Fundamentals of Supervision can give you the edge and ensure that you will be a success in your job.  You will receive a certificate of completion for the series.  It includes:
    • Leadership: Its Roles and Responsibilities
    • Interpersonal Communication: The Written Word
    • Interpersonal Communication: The Spoken Word
    • Maximizing Employee Performance
    • Managing Your Priorities
    • Creative Problem Solving
    • Being a Team Player
       
  • Sharpen Your Professional Skills.  Once you complete the Fundamentals of Supervision and/or have been in a leadership role for a period of time, it's time to move on to more in-depth workshops that can help you to be that "superior" leader.   Let us design training to sharpen your professional skills.
  • Interviewing Skills for the Interviewee.  Effective interview for employment are improtant for both the interviewee and the interviewer.  This two-day workshop will help learn the types of interviews; how to prepare and organize your credentials; how to relax and minimize your nervousness; how to deal with difficult questions.
