It is important to know that if you are just beginning your search for possible grant opportunities, utilizing a grant database or clearinghouse may be your best bet. The Foundation Center and Grants.gov are the two most frequently utilized sources for funding and provide you the ability to also set email alerts for specific types of announcements.
