To add online programs, must have a change request completed per section 7.2 in HLC Accreditation guidelines which centers on answering six questions: What change is being proposed? What factors led the organization to undertake the proposed change? What necessary approvals have been obtained to implement the proposed change? What impact might the proposed change have on challenges identified by the HLC as part of or subsequent to the last comprehensive visit? What are the organization’s plans to implement and sustain the proposed change? What are the organization’s strategies to evaluate the proposed change? Adding complete online programs—bachelor, associate, certificate—requires a site visit with a two-member team.
