Financial managers are responsible for the financial health of an organization. They produce financial statements and reports, direct investment activities and develop strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals of their organization.

Financial managers can be found in most any organization from Wall Street to Main Street. Industries such as banking and insurance rely heavily on financial management professionals. However, even the smallest local business needs some level of financial management, so opportunities exist in just about any area of the country or the world.
