Unsure of Your Major?

Print Friendly

All students have a major, even when you are not sure what career you want to pursue. Students who find themselves unsure about their career goals should develop a career plan and meet with their faculty and career advisors to help clarify goals to secure career objectives

Most students who enroll in college will change majors three to five times before graduation. The Career Center is equipped with a career library and computers that are connected to the internet to assist students who are searching for information about various career options. In addition, the Career Center has The College Career and Planning System, which assists you in learning about your interests, skills and work values. It uses those results to help you build a personal career plan, explore occupational information and plan for career success.

The Career Center also offers Career Coach, which is designed to help you find a good career by providing the most current local data on wages, employment, job postings and associated education and training.
